Solution

IMPORTANT SECURITY UPDATE!

Issue:

When attempting to run my software I get the following error.

The application failed to initialize (0x0000135). Click to terminate.


Solution:

Your PC is missing the Microsoft .NET framework which most newly devloped software will have.

Here is the fix right from microsoft.
